a) Pile Driving Analysis (PDA)
b) Pile Integrity Test (PIT) c) Sonic Logging Test
(a) PILE DRIVING ANALYSIS (PDA)
PDA computes the peak pile forces at the gauges location. These forces can be converted to pile stresses, under each strike of the hammer blow. Measurement of pile forces would indicate if damage to the pile top is likely.
(b) PILE INTEGRITY TEST (PIT)
It is checking the recorded traces for the pressure of any velocity wave return, prior to the arrival of return wave from the pile toe.
(c) SONIC LOGGING TEST
The Sonic Probe is containing a transmitter and a receiver. Various measurements are taken of the velocity of sound through the rock surrounding the borehole. Variations in velocity may indicate changes in strata and knowledge of the velocity of sound waves can indicate certain rock qualities.
